Isabella Cope (Dorothy)

Jourdain (Jojo) Montoya (Toto)
This is Jourdain’s third acting role with HSTEP.  Her credits include Abu in Disney's Aladdin Jr. (HSTEP), and a Lost Boy Racoon Twin in Disney's Peter Pan Jr. (HSTEP). Jourdain has modeled professionally beginning at age 3 in New England and has been represented by The Beauty Within Model Management in Westerly, RI as well as Dynasty Models in Boston, MA.  Jourdain has been featured in fashion runway shows, Macy’s, and Play-Doh packaging. She has also appeared in two independent films titled Scenes in a Mind and The Mulberry Tree. Currently, Jourdain enjoys everything about wolves, Superman, pet sitting, and spending time with her friends.  She aspires to be a photographer when she grows up.

Elizabeth Damewood (Dorothy) is having an absolute blast playing this role! She is 15 years old and enjoys dancing, acting, and high adventure rope courses. She is a huge fan of roller coasters and loves making puns. She has earned her Bronze and Silver Award for Girl Scouts and is currently working on her Gold Award. She plays the piano and is learning how to play the ukulele. Her favorite past roles include Wendy in Disney’s Peter Pan, Jr. (HSTEP and WAG), Ariel in Disney’s The Little Mermaid, Jr. (WAG), Zaneeta in The Music Man (MRC), and Lydia in Pride and Prejudice (TAG). She currently takes tap, jazz, pointe, and musical theatre classes from Duck River Dance and is participating in the upcoming production of The Nutcracker. She is also playing Georgie in Jingle in the City at Manchester First Baptist Church this Christmas season. Thanks to all the folks who have supported her and inspired her to be her very best!
 

Micah Hansen (Scarecrow) began his life in theatre back in 2007 when he played a tree in a production of The Wizard of Oz. Now, nine years later, he's portraying the Scarecrow. Micah has been cast as such notable characters as Aladdin in , Disney's Aladdin,Jr. (HSTEP), Mr. Bingley in Pride and Prejudice (TAG), and The Mad Hatter in Alice in Wonderland (HSTEP). He has gained additional experience from participation in numerous HSTEP and TAG performances. Look for Micah in TAG's The Matchmaker at the Manchester Arts Center in January 2017.

Ethan Brazukas (Tinman) first joined the theatre world in the HSTEP production of Disney's Peter Pan, Jr. He has since enjoyed roles the TAG productions of 13, Pride and Prejudice, and MRC's To Kill a Mockingbird. In addition to growing as an actor with HSTEP, he honed his improv skills this past summer with Murfreesboro Little Theater. Ethan enjoys playing guitar and composing and producing original electronic music. You can see him in his next role of Rudolph in TAG's January production of The Matchmaker.

Anna Campbell (Miss Gulch/Wicked Witch of the West)

Rayanna Lemons, who plays the role of Aunt Em, is 15 years old. She has been a part of four productions with the HSTEP program, as well as two with the Teen Actors Guild. Her past roles include Humpty Dumpty in Alice in Wonderland (HSTEP) and Mrs. Peterson in Bye Bye Birdie (TAG). When not acting, she enjoys reading, taking walks, and eating Twizzlers. She greatly appreciates all the time and effort the cast and crew have put into making this an amazing show!

Brennan Clarneau (Professor Marvel/The Wizard of Oz) is 12 years old and in 7th grade. His first dramatic roles were in plays at his church, home school co-op, and in the ensemble of Big River. He is currently enjoying playing The Wizard and has previously been cast as Winthrop in The Music Man (MRC), Sultan in Disney's Aladdin, Jr. (HSTEP), The King of Hearts in Alice in Wonderland (HSTEP), and Michael in Disney's Peter Pan, Jr. (HSTEP). He enjoys doing stop-motion photography and making other creative videos along with writing, drawing and singing. When he grows up he'd like to be involved in Christian movies, either through acting or animation.

Zoe Stinson (Glinda, The Good Witch) says hi! She is twelve years old and in the 7th grade. The Wizard of Oz is her third show at the MAC. She has previously appeared in Alice in Wonderland (HSTEP) and Disney’s Aladdin, Jr. (HSTEP). She enjoys theatre, gymnastics, music, reading, and archery. Also, she loves pandas.

Isabelle Barber (Hickory, Munchkin, Crow) After attending many community theater workshops, Isabelle is currently playing the role of Hickory and various supportive roles in The Wizard of Oz. She has had roles in The Best Christmas Pagent Ever, Disney's Peter Pan, Jr., 13 (TAG), Alice in Wonderland (HSTEP) and Disney's Aladdin, Jr. (HSTEP). She enjoyed playing the part of the Caterpillar in Alice in Wonderland the most. She is a home-schooled sophmore who enjoys participating in her Interscholastic Equestrian Team (IEA) and playing video games.

Leah Appleton (Munchkin, Apple Tree, Emerald City Citizen, Winkie Guard, Optimistic Voice) makes her debut in acting in The Wizard of Oz. She is in 9th grade and has 3 older siblings.
She enjoys hanging out with friends, bike riding, swimming and singing. She also enjoys traveling with her sisters.  Leah would like to thank all the production team for their time and effort.

Hope Collins (Munchkin, Apple Tree, Emerald City Citizen, Winkie Guard, Optimistic Voice) is fourteen years old and this is her fourth play with the HSTEP program. She has a love for music and a love for animals and would do anything to help one in need. She volunteers taking pictures of adoptable dogs at the shelter. She currently has two adopted dogs, two cats, two dwarf hamsters, and a rabbit at home. She loves being around her friends and laughing is one of her favorite part of everyday.

Elise Sandlin (Munchkin, Apple Tree, Emerald City Citizen, Winkie Guard, Optimistic Voice) has been enjoying theater since she was eleven years old–playing roles from Ursula in Disney's The Little Mermaid, Jr. (WAG), Jr. to Jasmine in Disney's Aladdin, Jr. (HSTEP). She has also been Tinkerbell from Disney's Peter Pan (HSTEP) and the Cheshire Cat from Alice in Wonderland (HSTEP). Elise, who is 14 and in 9th grade, enjoys writing novels and being active with her friends. She is excited for future plays and experiences!

Autumn Shrum (Munchkin Lollipop Guild, Ozian, Flying Monkey) hits the stage in this classic production of The Wizard of Oz. She enjoys the challenge of putting the puzzle together with the cast and crew members. Off stage, she tends to her dearly beloved animals. You could say she was born "country." Autumn also loves classic movies:Teen Wolf, The Phantom of the Opera, and Jurassic Park.

Violet Hendricks (Munchkin Lullaby League, Ozian, Nikko) is 14 years old. The Wizard of Oz is her third drama performance. She has also been cast in The Adventures of Alice in Wonderland (HSTEP), and Disney's Aladdin, Jr. (HSTEP). She has been trained in ballet and piano, which she thoroughly enjoys. She loves outdoor photography. She also trains her dog several times a week. Her dog can do at least 30 tricks. Her favorite school subjects are science and history. She hopes to travel to exotic locations around the world one day.

Layla Cook (Munchkin, Ozian, Flying Monkey)

Abbigayle Price (Munchkin Lullaby League, Ozian, Flying Monkey) is 11 years old. This play is her acting debut. She will be a munchkin in the lullaby league, an Ozian, and a winged monkey. Abbi is the youngest of 4 and enjoys reading and dancing. Abbi would like to thank Mr. Will, Mr. Noel, and all those who made this play possible and her parents for allowing her to join the cast.
